Halen Medical also offers a full-service, third-party booking company for Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs). This is a completely separate business, entitled Valour Independent Medical Assessments. This company offers traditional support for third-party bookings, including scheduling, typing, and organizing records (to clarify, there is no additional editing or staffing outside of typical non-medical administrative roles).

 

There is no charge to the physician when IMEs are booking through Valour, which is preferred to facilitate timely transfer of documents and payment.

Physicians can also maintain their preferred look and layout of their reports, provided the office contact information is updated. Valour strives to keep IME administrative rates low.
